Magic Kingdom, Feb. 2013 with Mommy, Jonah, Zekey &Savta

Well, we were going to go to the  Bahamas in early February, but 1.5 feet of snow cancelled our flight, so mommy changed our plans and we went to Disney World instead Feb. 15 to 19th.

We arrived early on the 15th and enjoyed swimming in the pool.

Savta arrived that night. We tried to stay up, but we were too tired.

The next morning when I saw Savta, I said, "Boker tov!"

After breakfast at our All Stars Movie Disney Resort, we waiting in line for the bus to the Magic Kingdom.

Savta and Mommy got us maps.
As we walked down Main Street,
Savta decided to get us a stroller for Zekey....but sometimes I wanted to ride in it too.

Zekey liked the new gloves that Savta gave him so he wore them all day.
\

There were lots of statues around us:
Pinocchio
Donald Duck
Walt Disney & Mickey Mouse

Then we saw the castle, and dancers performing in the street in front of it.

We first went to Fantasyland and went on Mommy's favorite ride, "It's a Small World."  We liked it a lot and we only waited 5 minutes to get on the ride.  It was good to get there early--just after 9 a.m.

Holland/the Netherlands
Soldier in London, England
Dancers from Spain
Singers from Spain
Gondola in Italy
Jewish Wedding in Israel
Dancers in India?
Dancers in Thailand

Zekey and I were fascinated by the show as we passed by singers and dancers from different countries.  I had my mouth open in awe a lot.  Mommy and Savta agreed that it was outdated in many ways but still a lot of fun and Savta kept on singing the song.  I know a lot of countries so I liked to see people from the different places.

Japan

Frogs

Giraffes in Africa

Dancers in Hawaii or Tahiti

Kangaroo in Australia

Mexico

Chinese Acrobats

And at the end, there were signs in many languages saying "good-bye."

Then we went on the carousel and all rode horses that went up and down.

We liked the Small World ride so much that we went on it a second time and only had to wait 15 minutes.  We also went on the Peter Pan ride.  It was OK but neither Zeke nor I knew the story.  The ride wasn't too scary but it was pretty dark.

We went to see a really really neat 3 D movie called "Mickey's PhilharMagic." We waiting in line a bit and jumped around with the 3D glasses.

It was really cool and I got a bit scared and grabbed Savta when Donald flew out so close to me that I could touch him!  Savta took a picture of the screen and this is what it looked like without the 3D glasses:

I am not sure which ride the picture below is from.
I liked helping and pushing Zekey in the stroller.

In Adventureland we saw two pirates.  Mom said that one really looked like Jack Sparrow.
A few kids fought them.
Then we all could go up stage and take a pirate pledge.

We tried to See Pirates of the Caribbean--Mommy really liked it--but it was closed. So we went on the Jungle Cruise.  The animals were not real but they looked real to me.
An African Elephant

Zekey and I were pretty fascinated by it all.

Asian Elephants

There were statues that sprayed out water.  Savta thought it was neat but Zekey was not sure.  I got to ride in the stoller a bit.

We passed by different kinds of stores.  In Adventure Land, one store had lots of drums, rattles, and other musical instruments like the one I was trying to play here.

We walked through Frontier Land and saw a band playing.

Mommy tried to get us to dance with her while the band played.
Spash Mountain was also closed but Mommy, Zekey and I did go on Big Thunder Mountain.  It was a train/roller coaster.  Zekey was JUST tall enough (almost 40").  I loved it but Zekey didn't.

We got a bit tired of lines so we found a play area and jumped around a bit.
We had had lunch earlier. After playing, we got some popsicles.  Mommy's was a pineapple fruitsicle.
There were a bunch of birds nearby.  Grandpa Howard said they were egrets.  They got really really close to us.

At 3:00 there was a fifteen-minute parade with a lot of Disney characters. Before the parade, Savta read us part of the first book of the Magic Tree House series.

First there were a lot of groups of girls from state like Alabama and Florida. They were twirling batons.

Mommy took a picture of me kissing savta.
Savta took pictures of the rest of us.

And FINALLY we saw Donald!
and Chip and Dale and Goofy

and Mickey and Minnie's back

 Pinocchio and Jimminy Cricket

Aladdin and Dumbo

Captain Hook

Alice & Peter Pan

Cinderella

We got tired after the parade and the lines were getting longer so we took the bus back to the hotel.

Mommy and Zekey went to a shop and Zekey tried on hats.

Before dinner, Zekey and I saw a toy car running around the entry.  There was a guy nearby and his job was to do fun things for kids like us.

Mommy, Zekey and I went back to the Magic Kingdom on Feb. 19.  Savta could not go because her flight was at 2, 6 hours earlier than ours.  They went on Parates of the Caribbean, the Magic Carpet ride, and then back to the tree house.  I loved the tree house the first day too.    After that we went to Tomorrow Land and went on racecars in the  Tomorrow Land Speedway, the People Mover and then Buzz Light year.  We went back tot he racecars again too.  They were fun!  We were REALLY tired after that but it was a LOT of fun!
