The Great Pumpkin Blaze in Sleepy Hollow, Nov. 2016

On Saturday night, I was treated to an amazing pumpkin lights display with my daughter Timna and her family.  I didn't know what to expect and was overwhelmed.

From the website above:
"In this elaborate, hugely popular walk-through experience, see more than 7,000 illuminated jack o' lanterns, all designed and individually hand-carved on site by our team of artisans.
Wander along our main street Pumpkin Promenade and stroll across the new Pumpkin Zee Bridge. Gaze in wonder at swimming aquatic creatures and gasp at the sight of a giant Sea Serpent surfacing next to the Croton River. Get mesmerized by a color-changing star show in the plus-sized Pumpkin Planetarium.
Feel the earth shake as you approach Jurassic Park, where a brand-new herd of pint-sized dinosaurs mingles with an enormous T-Rex, brontosaurus, triceratops, and flying pterodactyl. Squeal with excitement as the Circus Train rolls into town, with a cast of colorful clowns and awesome animals. Don’t miss Sleepy Hollow Country’s most iconic inhabitant, the Headless Horseman…yes, all made entirely of jack o’lanterns!
Gourd-filled Jack-in-the-boxes spring to life while a giant spider web spins a great #pumpkinblaze photo op.
Slithering snakes, a working doomsday grandfather clock, elaborate Celtic knot carvings, creepy cool cats, and comical, squash-eating Venus pumpkin traps are just some of the pumpkin treasures you’ll find."
Here are some of the many photos I took:

Saluting

The Pumpkin Zee Bridge, based on the Tapanzee bridge
 Amazing!!!!!
One of the towers in the Pumpkin zee Bridge

First peek at a dinosaur and the spider's web with pumpkins galore in front

Faces and fish carved on Pumpkins

Not sure what this was, but was quite ornate!

Jumping rope below???
Next comes one of my favorite parts--the animal train!!
The engine and the engineer

I think that is a llama on the left!

And a sloth above on the right!!  So cool!!

A Dragon
and below is a close up of part of the dragon...
and some humans in the pumpkin tunnel... I used a flash for this photo, I think.
Me too, a bit overtired!
The roof of the tunnel, above with a flash and below without the flash

The "stars" of The Legend of Sleepy Hallow:

The Headless Horseman below--with a flash. The picture without the flash did not turn out, but this gives you an idea of how the "statue" was built.
The birth of the circus--below--started with one elephant named Bet

I definitely prefer the picture without flash above but it is interesting to see the one with flash too.
Pumpkin head came in and out of the haystack? below.

Road to the ferry--off limits to us and where we turned around and went up hill

Very long snake

Jonah liked a lot of the pumpkin carvings so I took a bunch of photos of them

Witches making their special brew
Spider web and spiders, big and small.  From afar, at first I thought it was a ferris wheel.

What animal is this?

Dinosaurs galore below including a fight between a Trex and a ?

Sunflowers??

A Giant Mushroom!

The nose is the pumpkin stem!
